okay so this is probably a dumb question and maybe I should just search but I wanted to share what happened to me because maybe it helps someone else who is as clueless as I was when I started
so I ordered some BPC-157 a few months ago from a supplier (not gonna name them yet, still deciding if I want to do a full review) and I was trying to figure out syringes and I just... grabbed the wrong ones. I bought 1cc insulin syringes thinking bigger was fine, like more volume = more flexibility right? not sure if that makes sense even now but that was my logic at the time
the problem is I was dosing really small amounts and I could barely read the markings accurately on the 1cc barrel. like the lines are so tiny and spread out differently and I kept second guessing myself every single time. was I drawing 250mcg or 300mcg? genuinely no idea half the time. I'd hold it up to the light like five times and still not be confident
should have been using the 0.5cc or even the 0.3cc ones apparently?? someone in another thread mentioned that and I felt so dumb reading it
not sure if this affected my results or not, probably did. the dosing was definitely inconsistent I think. not blaming the peptide for maybe not working as well as it should have those first few weeks because that's probably on me
anyway if you're new like me, smaller barrel = easier to read small volumes. apparently this is like basics 101 and nobody told me lol. again sorry if this is a waste of a thread
used the wrong size insulin syringe for like 3 weeks and now im embarrassed

dude dont even sweat it too hard, everyone has a noob moment like this lol
BUT i do wanna call something out here because i see this misunderstanding a LOT and i dont want other new people reading this thread to get the wrong idea
the part that concerns me is where you say "was I drawing 250mcg or 300mcg" - bro thats not a small variance percentage wise, thats like 20% off on your dose. over 3 weeks that adds up
also where are you getting your conversion math from for your doses? like how are you calculating mcg to ml based on your reconstitution ratio? because thats honestly where most new people mess up even before the syringe issue. the syringe thing compounds a bad calc and then youre really flying blind
what concentration did you reconstitute at?

okay so yes, smaller barrel IS easier to read for small volumes, that part is correct. BUT the reason why matters and i dont think you fully understand it yet. its not just about "easier to read" - its about ACCURACY. when youre dosing like 100-250mcg of something like BPC, you are working with TINY volumes of reconstituted solution, we're talking like 0.05ml to maybe 0.15ml depending on how you reconstituted. on a 1cc syringe those graduations are spread across the whole barrel and each little line represents like 0.01ml. on a 0.3cc syringe those same graduations are WAY more spread out visually so you can actually land on the right mark with confidencepeptide_n00b_2023 wrote:should have been using the 0.5cc or even the 0.3cc ones apparently??
