yo ok SupplierSkeptic99 the tamagotchi metaphor is genuinely unhinged but also i cant stop thinking about it now lol like that actually tracks way harder than it should

this is such a key detail and honestly i feel like this is the kind of thing that gets completely ignored in self experimentation because its hard to quantify. like when ur logging ur logging dose and timing and oura data but nobody is writing down "week stress level: 8/10" in their notes. and then u wonder why ur results look inconsistent

honestly this whole HPA axis angle is making me think differently about my GH peptide runs too not just DSIP. like i've noticed that ipamorelin/cjc stacks seem to hit different for me depending on the week and i always chalked it up to sleep quality or calories or whatever but like... stress axis stuff could easily be part of that picture right? if cortisol is elevated it probably isnt helping GH pulse dynamics either. this community talks about diet and sleep as variables constantly but psychosocial stress barely comes up as a real trackable thing

ok ur right and i hate how right u are lol. gonna actually start doing this going forward. even just a simple 1-10 daily stress rating takes like 2 seconds and could explain a ton of variance that just gets written off as "peptide being inconsistent" or "bad batch"
peptide_n00b_2023 wrote:does that mean DSIP could interact with like... regular stress levels in daily life too, not just other compounds?
noobie u asked a genuinely good question here, dont sell urself short. dr_peptide_curious basically confirmed it and the logic makes sense even from a bro science standpoint. ur body isnt separating "compound stress" from "life stress" its all the same machinery

great thread overall this has been one of the more useful reads ive had on here in a min ngl

yo SupplierSkeptic the Tamagotchi thing actually got me lmao i wasnt expecting that and now i cant un-see it
peptide_n00b_2023 wrote:does that mean DSIP could interact with like... regular stress levels in daily life too, not just other compounds? like would a really stressful week potentially blunt the effects or work against it?
ok so dr_peptide_curious gave you the actual science breakdown on this and i dont wanna just repeat all that but i do wanna add something from a more practical angle since youre newer to this stuff

genuine question for you actually - when you ran your cycle, were your weeks pretty consistent stress-wise or was there a lot of variation? like job stress, training stress, sleep schedule changing, that kind of thing? because im honestly wondering now looking back at my own DSIP runs whether some of my "good weeks vs bad weeks" variance was just... life stuff i wasnt tracking at all. i was logging doses and sleep scores but i was NOT logging like "hey this week work was insane" as a variable

bc dr_peptide_curious mentioning the week 5 work stress thing is actually bugging me now. i had a similar pattern in my last run where week 4 felt noticeably weaker and i just chalked it up to the compound aging in the vial. but that was also around a really hectic period for me personally. no way to know at this point but still

basically curious what your stress load looked like during those weeks if you remember
